My Story
Hi, I'm Rohit. Here's How Quaint Labs Started.
I'm a pharmacist. I have a B.Pharm and a Master's in Industrial Pharmacy.
In 2008, I moved to Ohio and joined Oakwood Laboratories a company that makes sterile injectables. For eight years, I worked in their Quality Control department. If you don’t know what sterile injectables are, here’s the short version: they’re medicines that go directly into a patient’s bloodstream. There is zero room for error. One missed step, one untested batch, and a person can get seriously hurt.
That’s the standard I learned to work to. Every ingredient tested. Every batch documented. Every step checked, double-checked, and signed off.
In 2016, family reasons brought me back to India. I started looking at how supplements were being made here and what I saw worried me. Most factories were treating supplements like a packaging job. Buy the powder, fill the capsule, slap on a label, ship it out. The science I had spent years learning didn’t seem to matter much.
So I started Quaint Labs. Not to make the cheapest supplements. Not to be the biggest factory. But to build a place where supplements get made the way I learned to make medicines properly.
That’s still what we do today.
What Quaint Labs Actually Does
We’re a private-label supplement manufacturer. That means we don’t sell products under our own name to consumers. We help you build your brand.
You bring the idea what you want to make, who it’s for. We handle the rest. Formula design, ingredient sourcing, lab testing, manufacturing, certifications, paperwork.
When the boxes leave our facility, your name is on them. Not ours.
Where Your Product Gets Made
Our manufacturing facility is in Satara, Maharashtra. It’s not the biggest in India and that’s by design. I wanted a facility I could personally walk through every day, where nothing slips past me.
This means we can take small starter batches from new founders and scale up to full production runs as your brand grows all under the same roof, with the same quality standards.
